Dar Seven

The staff on site were courteous and spent more than 30 minutes trying to sort out the problem. When we asked late that evening for somewhere to shower, they let us use a shower on the rooftop. Management later said a boiler malfunction had caused the issue and offered an incentive for a future stay, but the way they ultimately handled things left us disappointed. We had booked the Loggia Suite specifically in part for its in-room bath. That evening, there was no hot water in our room, so we couldn’t use it at all. Equipment can fail, but the property is responsible for making sure paid rooms and advertised amenities work. Paying full price when the room’s defining feature is unusable doesn’t feel consistent with normal hospitality. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend the property.

Iliass and Ahmed made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and their warmth made our stay at Dar Seven special. Iliass was especially helpful, sharing good recommendations and helping us find our way around whenever we needed it. The hotel is charming and cozy, a peaceful place to come back to after exploring Marrakech. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would highly recommend it for a warm, authentic experience.

Khalid kindly walked us to a restaurant one evening and brought us back so we wouldn’t get lost. Ilias and the team welcomed us with mint tea, and we had a fantastic stay at Dar Seven. The property is beautiful and conveniently located in the Medina. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend staying here in Marrakech.

The staff made our trip feel personal in a way I haven’t experienced anywhere else. One night Illiass sat with us at dinner and taught us Moroccan cards. The next morning, he gave each of us a deck to take home to America. There were other thoughtful surprises too, like late-night pizza, wine, and rose petals in the room. I was traveling with two other 21-year-old women, and Ahmed and Iliass walked us wherever we needed to go, day or night, so we’d feel safe. They helped with dinner bookings and tourist visits, always with a smile and extra care. We even got to know the staff. The Riad was beautiful and clean, in a fairly central location, with lots of amenities that made it comfortable. We just checked out, and I already can’t wait to return to Dar 7. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting.
