The meals were a highlight, full of authentic flavor and made with care. Our hosts were warm and attentive, and made us feel at ease. It was a wonderful taste of Moroccan generosity, and we'd happily return.

I’d look for another riad. One staff member, whose name I think was Zacharia or something like that, was very unprofessional. He slammed the door in front of us, laughed when we raised concerns several times, and didn’t take our problems seriously. On WhatsApp he was unfriendly when asking us to pay the taxes, and I felt he didn’t respect our needs. The woman did take our concern seriously, but nothing was done about it, which didn’t help. All in all, this was a horrendous experience and I’d highly recommend staying elsewhere. This riad is a scam!

Khaled made things easy from the start, welcoming us, bringing water bottles, and helping with whatever we needed. The riad is near a major entrance and still close to the main plaza, which is useful if you're exploring the Medina and heading to another city. Unlike many central riads, it was completely quiet. Our room was clean, especially the sheets, and the bathroom had toiletries. The rooftop had a great classic Marrakech look. We had to leave at 7am, before the usual 8am breakfast, and Khaled packed it for us the night before and left it by our door.

Outside was a little noisy at night, but the receptionist was warm and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. The riad was a bit farther away than Google Maps showed.
