The garden was beautiful and pleasant, and the location was excellent for Menara Gardens and Menara Mall. We didn't use the pool. We were there on a package holiday, and probably wouldn't have picked this hotel ourselves. It's old and doesn't meet four-star standards: the furniture is worn, the rooms weren't cleaned properly, and there was hair and dust on the floor and dirt in the bathroom. The food had good variety and tasted nice, and we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. Hygiene still wasn't great, since one time our table had used or poorly cleaned cutlery.

Aziz at reception really stood out. He was warm and professional, always ready to help with a smile, and made us feel at home with great service from check-in through his recommendations and other assistance.

This place is very dated and falling apart, with badly run-down rooms. Our sheets and comforter had dark stains all over them and looked like they hadn't been washed. The patio door wouldn't lock, and the air conditioning didn't work. Best to stay away.

We loved our six-night stay here a week ago, and would come back. The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. I'd read mixed reviews online and wasn't expecting much, but the breakfast was included and had a buffet with fruit, bread, meats, an omelet station, and self-serve coffee and juice. We rented a Bungalow with a queen bed and two twin sofa beds. Our first room had no remote or phone, the downstairs bathroom smelled awful, and there were no blankets, so they moved us to another room that was much cozier and better. It was right by the pool with garden access. There were several ping-pong tables, pool tables, a spa, a fitness center, two lounge rooms, and music playing by the pool. The location suited us well, within easy walking distance of Menara Mall, Souk's, and various museums. The employees were friendly and efficient throughout.
