Riad Dar Lalla

We felt like family with the hosts, and the riad itself was beautiful. We had a wonderful stay!

Cristina and Emanuele The riad is delightful and well placed in the Medina for visiting all the sights. Naima, her sister, and Ahmed greeted us with warmth and professionalism. Naima's breakfasts by the pool were fresh, wonderful, and different each day. The dinners were excellent too, well cooked and authentic. Ahmed arranged our airport rides as well as a couple of outings to Ourika and the Agafay Desert.

Ahmed quickly shared advice on places to visit, what was worth seeing, and how to avoid getting ripped off in Marrakech's streets. The riad's location is convenient, but it feels quiet and removed from the city. This is a traditional place, so the rooms may be smaller than a hotel outside the medina. That didn't bother us at all. There's room to relax beyond the bedrooms, with a rooftop terrace where we even ordered hot mint tea, a patio with a plunge pool, and an outdoor lounge on the first floor. The rooms were clean and the service warm. We booked for a week, with a break for a desert trip, and everyone was incredibly accommodating. They welcomed us like family, and we felt as if we were staying with a Moroccan family. Naima made us a generous, excellent breakfast at home, and cooked dinner for us and two friends. It was the best Moroccan meal we had on the trip. She was kind and attentive, and made the place feel like a cozy haven. We were very well looked after. I can't praise the riad enough, it's comfortable, authentic, and welcoming.

The riad's team were warm, cheerful, attentive, and professional, and the Medina location made it easy to explore on foot. My first Marrakech experience here was incredible! And Naïma deserves a special mention. She's an angel as well as an exceptional cook. Khalti, I'll miss you! See you very soon!
