Riad de la Semaine

Getting to the riad means walking down a couple of alleys, and we found the locals friendly and welcoming. It added to the experience. There’s plenty to see and eat nearby, and the location is convenient for the main square. The rooms were attractive, clean and comfortable for this kind of stay, and breakfast was nice each morning. When I mentioned a couple of minor maintenance issues, the manager dealt with them promptly. The staff were kind throughout. They also went well out of their way when I left my phone in the toilets at McDonald's at the Marrakesh train station. The restaurant manager answered when we called from our train to Tangier, and the riad manager went to collect it. The next day, he took it to the Pullman courier agency and sent it on to Tangier for us. I think staying in a medina riad is part of visiting Marrakesh, and this was a good one. We had a great stay.

We had a lovely time at the Riad, and the breakfast was typical of the country. It was comfortable, and the location was beautiful and very central. Our host Moha helped my friend and me every evening, either getting a taxi or finding somewhere for dinner. He was very kind. We’d happily come back!

The owner was especially helpful, even though I forgot to ask his name. Thanks to him, we made it to our tour bus. The room was pretty, clean and comfortable, and all the staff were kind. Highly recommend!

Only a couple of rooms, so the riad was quiet once we were inside. We were two women traveling together and felt very safe. It was spotless and just steps from Djemaa el Fna and the souk, so we walked everywhere. Latifah and Hagia took great care with breakfast and cleaning the rooms each day. At the front desk, Moha AM and Moha PM were attentive, professional and thoughtful. Much appreciated.
