Safia was kind and helpful, and Meryem was nice too. They were the only good part of my two-night stay. The riad itself was a real letdown: the rooms were poorly furnished, and the bathroom light was so dim I could barely see. While it was raining, water leaked into the lounge where we wanted to eat breakfast, flooding the area and reaching our table and us. I had to move to another lounge. This should have been fixed or dealt with properly. The rain also cut off the road to the riad, making things even more inconvenient. I don't recommend it; it wasn't worth the money.

The location was good, and the people and service were okay. I don't mind staying somewhere humble, but the price should reflect that, and the description should be accurate. Even after I was moved to a supposedly “better” room because the “Riad” was empty, the facilities were really bad. The photos could be very misleading. The mattress springs hurt, the pillow was so hard it seemed stuffed with clothes, and there was no shampoo. The place was dusty, and the room and towels were dirty and smelled weird. There was no hot water, the bathroom pipes leaked, and the room door wouldn't lock securely. Light came in during the night and made the room quite bright. I wouldn't stay here again.

The only reason this wasn't a total write-off was that the man who greeted me upgraded my room. Everything still feels done on the cheap. This place is an extension of the White Flower hotel, just up the allyway, and breakfast is over there. On the plus side, it was empty, so there were no water pressure problems! 😅

The rooms and the place were clean, but I had a bad experience. I paid 35 euros plus taxes for a small room, and the toilet was flooded, which I knew about from the start. There was air conditioning, but no remote. I was meant to get a blanket, towel, and heater, but none of them ever arrived. It was freezing in the morning, so I didn't extend my stay.

I spent three days at this Riad and would highly recommend it. The host, Jamal, is always ready to help with excursions, taxi transfers, and things like that. Enjoy your stay in Marrakech.
