We were disappointed by Riad de Salima. The owner was unpleasant and unwelcoming when we arrived, and it felt as though costs were being cut everywhere. There was very little soap and few towels. The breakfast was also very poor, with a limited selection and low quality. Finding a cockroach on the bed was disgusting and unacceptable. When I told the owner, he showed no empathy and offered no apology or solution. He only said I was the first guest to have this kind of problem. As we were leaving, we saw a delegation inspecting the terrace wall facing the street. It looked close to collapsing and seemed dangerous for both guests and passersby. The owner had not secured it, which showed a disregard for guests’ safety. I strongly advise against staying at Riad de Salima if you want a pleasant, worry-free visit to Marrakech. There are much better options in the city, with more welcoming owners and higher standards of cleanliness and safety.

A lovely riad where we could completely change the scene and disconnect. It was wonderfully quiet. We came as a family and were able to book the whole place privately.

The rooms are amazing, and the owners are kind and helpful. There’s a rooftop where you can relax in the evening. Breakfast is made fresh each morning and tastes delicious. The showers are spacious, clean, and have hot water.

The staff were welcoming and attentive from beginning to end, and the riad is clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent, and the location makes it convenient to visit the medina. I had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Salima and highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed staying at Riad Dar Salima. It’s beautifully and tastefully decorated, very clean, and has a calm, authentic feel that made it easy to relax after a day in the medina. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help, especially around breakfast, which was delicious. It’s close to the main sights but away from the noise. I highly recommend it if you want to experience Marrakech in comfort.
