I live in Morocco as a French resident, so I know the country well. For a stay in El Jadida, Ryad dec Spices is a great choice. It has a typical yet modern feel, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Carole, Rodolphe and Karima make you feel welcome, and Karima prepares excellent meals. They speak French and English. I recommend booking a stay here.

Our confirmed booking for five people was made on November 2, but on the 4th, just hours before we were due to arrive, I found out the riad had cancelled it. It was a really bad experience. We were coming back from a three day desert tour with little internet access, and then had to find somewhere else at 8 p.m. on a Saturday and national holiday, when many tourists were visiting Marrakech. I wouldn't recommend this riad, since you can't be sure your accommodation will be honored.

Right among the lively souks, the riad feels like a peaceful hideaway. The staff are attentive, and the rooms are lovely and high quality, which makes for a great time in Marrakech. I come back whenever I'm in town. Highly recommend it.

We stayed here with friends and had a perfect visit. The riad has loads of charm, with beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and the people serving it were so pleasant. Everything was great, and I'd happily come back.

The pool was just what we needed after walking around the souk, and the terrace was lovely in the cool evenings, early mornings, and when we wanted to sunbathe. The decor also felt thoughtfully put together, with great taste. Everything made for such a comfortable, relaxing stay, with a perfect location and wonderful people. Pure bliss, our only regret was having to leave. We'll be back 💖
