Riad El Wiam

The owners were so kind when we got to chat with them, and the service from everyone was impeccable. Breakfast was out of this world and ended up being my favourite part. We loved the rooms and the location too. We came to Riad El Wiam not expecting such a great adventure, but had a beautiful stay. If I visit Marrakech again, I’ll definitely stay here.

We had a lovely five days here, and somehow had the whole riad to ourselves. The host was really friendly, and we were welcomed with Moroccan tea and biscuits. Breakfast was a great, varied spread on the roof terrace, served whenever we needed it. Our room was pretty, with great air conditioning, a very comfortable bed, and spacious shower and toilet facilities. The decor was lovely too. It’s about a ten minute walk to the medina, with some great restaurants even closer. They don’t look like much, but the food was honestly incredible. I’ve stayed in Morocco many times, and this is one of my favourite places. Friendly, spacious, affordable, and very pretty.

Bo and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The rooms are beautiful, and the terrace is wonderful. It’s a real gem in the middle of the Medina old town, and made for a dream stay. Such a treat!

Fatima, Bouchra’s mother, welcomed us like close friends, and she and the house staff took such wonderful care of all of us. That was the most touching part of the stay. We all loved it. I picked this riad for my 29th birthday and invited nine of my closest friends. I travel a lot, so it can be hard for a place to surprise me, but this stay completely blew my mind and my girlfriends’ too. From the first messages, Bouchra made me feel cared for. She was responsive, friendly, flexible, suggested lots of extra amenities, and was a great planner. I say that as a wedding planner myself! We felt like princesses when we arrived. The riad was like a palace, with luxurious materials, lots of space and light, and four floors of high-end living. It was the most precious gift I’ve ever given myself.
