The team’s happy spirit came through everywhere. A young woman kept the roof gardens spotless with a smile, and the two women making breakfast were always cheerful. There’s lots of seating, both under cover and out in the open, plus an upper level with 360 degree views of the city and mountains. We loved watching sunrise and sunset up there. Said, Hamza, and the rest of the team greeted us with smiles and helpful advice. The riad is tucked behind a big door on a little cul de sac lane, where noisy bikes and scooters are rarely seen, heard, or smelled. We felt completely at home and hated leaving. We were there for a special occasion and booked Dar Sultan, the biggest suite. It’s very spacious and bright, with a balcony sofa overlooking the pool. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room peaceful, and its different lights made it feel warm. The bathroom was large, and the shower was hot. We’d highly recommend Fleur d'Orient. On your way into the medina, Simple Speciality coffee on Dar el Bacha makes fantastic coffee with oatly oat milk!

We’ll be coming back. It was a peaceful, comfortable place to stay, and a great base for relaxing and exploring. Said, Hamza, and the whole team were kind and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant, and there was always someone at the front desk to help plan and book the next day.

The riad had such a vibrant, spectacular atmosphere, like something out of an ancient movie. We stayed 3 nights and found it exceptional. Our room was big and nice, and the staff were accommodating and helpful in every way, especially Said. I highly recommend it ❤️

Breakfast on the rooftop was a peaceful, warm break from the chaos of the Medina, with a slight breeze. But it’s the staff who make the place feel like home. Said and Hamza made our 3 days extraordinary, going far beyond what we expected. Hamza even brought us pastries from a bakery near his home because he knew I really wanted to try them. Their kindness started with the welcome, too. We immediately felt we were in the right place, and we’ve never had such a warm, kind greeting anywhere else.

From the moment we arrived, every part of the stay felt out of this world. The shared spaces had a lovely atmosphere, everything was clean, the service was great, and even breakfast was impressive. Staying at a Riad is a unique experience, which I expected, but this was better than I could have imagined in Marrakech. Better than most 5* hotels I’ve stayed in around the world. Book it, you won’t be disappointed.
