Riad Jnane Do

Jacqueline is what makes the place special. She's genuinely lovely, attentive and always available to help or have a chat. She has created a kind atmosphere where you feel at home straight away. My son loved her and the riad so much that he didn't want to leave. We spent a wonderful week there with my husband and our four-year-old child. Riad Jnane d'O is a little gem in a safe part of the Medina, centrally located about a 3-minute walk from Dar el Bacha museum and 12from Madrasa ben Yussef. Our room was spacious and charming, with no street noise, and the riad was spotless in every corner. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with plenty of choice. The small interior patio is colorful and cheerful. It's not the kind of riad to visit just to take Instagram shots. It's a place to reconnect and wonder whether the world might be better with more "Jacquelines" around. Highly recommended.

The Riad is peaceful and white, even though it's right in the middle of the Souk in the Medina. The location couldn't be better, right in the thick of things. Jacqueline was such a warm and welcoming host, and we loved our stay. I'd highly recommend it.

Jacqueline was a lovely host, warm and friendly, and really helpful with advice and restaurant bookings. The riad is beautiful and comfortable, full of charming touches, with a lovely courtyard full of trees and a nice roof terrace. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and bread, eggs and pancakes. The location is convenient, within walking distance of all the central areas and a short taxi ride to Jardin Majorelle. I can't recommend it highly enough and would definitely come back on a future trip.

We spent seven nights here in February, and when we return to Marrakech, we’ll stay again. Shops and restaurants are close by for evenings when you don’t want to walk far, and the Riad itself stays peaceful with no street noise. Everything else is within walking distance too. Jacqueline did so much to make our stay comfortable. Such a wonderful Riad.
