Riad La Vie

Our room and the riad were very clean, and the Moroccan breakfast was good. The staff were generally kind. But I'd strongly advise against adding any hammam, massage, or spa package here. My partner and I paid 400 MAD each for just the hammam. That's very pricey if you've tried a regular hammam in Morocco. I'd have accepted tourist pricing if the service met a basic standard. Instead, the hammam was cramped even for one person, let alone a couple and the attendant. There was dirt and used towels left by a previous guest, and the attendant refused to clear them while we were there. When we asked for clean towels to lie on, we got attitude and resistance. There was no shower space afterward, and they didn't serve Moroccan tea or sweets, which is typical at a standard hammam and available for a fraction of the price. I'd suggest using a regular hammam frequented by locals, where the cleaning and service should be much better for a standard price.

A perfect spot for quick or long walks to restaurants, sights, and the souks in the old medina. We loved staying here. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the meals were delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The team helped us feel confident finding our way through the surrounding alleyways, and the location is perfectly situated. Riad La Vie welcomed us with real warmth from the start and made us feel at home throughout. Our rooms were immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with every comfort we could want. Fresh, chilled water was always available, a considerate touch, and every meal was freshly made with care and full of flavor. I'd choose Riad La Vie again when I return to Marrakech. It made the stay truly memorable.

The hotel is nice and beautiful, and the rooms were clean, but the food wasn't great, especially dinner. Compared with what we ate outside, it was tasteless. The dining area is open and has no proper heating, so breakfast and dinner were freezing. They don't have an indoor dining room, and the heating system is terrible. They use propane heaters, but keep them on such a low setting that they don't give off any heat.
