The building is stunning, quiet, and peaceful, with beautiful tilework, an intricate wooden ceiling, and a gorgeous terrace. Everything has been so nicely preserved, and the whole place was very clean. I found it hard to leave the terrace in the mornings after the delicious breakfast. The staff were lovely throughout and made things easy before I even arrived. They arranged private airport transport, and the driver was waiting with a sign bearing the hotel name and helped with my luggage. At the Medina, staff met us, carried my bags, and walked me through the narrow, pedestrian-only lanes. There are a few turns and it’s a short walk, but I can see how someone new to Morocco could get lost. On arrival they served Moroccan tea and cookies, then went over a city map, shared advice about where to go and what to do or avoid, and gave a brief history of the place. They also helped with dinner reservations, finding things like a SIM card, and figuring out how to buy a rug. The stay may be on the expensive side, but I thought the experience was worth it. I hope to come back.

We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this riad without hesitation. For our first Marrakech holiday, it met and even surpassed what we expected, with genuine charm, an excellent Medina location, and attentive, highly professional service. It was far better than the riad we’d stayed at in Fez. Everything, from the messages before check-in to the daily service and departure, was handled smoothly. The riad had reopened in December, just weeks before our visit, and it showed in the spotless condition and careful attention to detail. Rooms were spacious, traditionally decorated, and made with quality materials. They were also bright and well lit, which was a refreshing change from many riads. Both the rooms and shared spaces were impeccably clean. Breakfast was excellent. We also appreciated being able to get barista-quality coffee and mint tea at any time without an extra charge. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place for breakfast or for a daytime rest with tea and local pastries. The young management team kept a close eye on daily operations and made sure things ran smoothly and guest needs were met right away. Zak and Imam deserve a special mention.

We only had three nights and wished we’d booked more. The rooftop was a favorite, a great place to relax and take in the views in the morning or evening after being out. The riad is beautiful and well placed for exploring, but coming back at the end of the day still felt peaceful. Everything we wanted to see and do was easy to reach. From arrival on, the staff were so friendly and attentive, always glad to help with directions, recommendations, or whatever else we needed. Their warmth made the trip memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone after a comfortable riad with a convenient location and fantastic rooftop.

We felt like part of the Riad by the time we left, even though we arrived as guests. Yassine, Zakaria, and the rest of the team were always there to help and do whatever they could for us. We came late in the evening on our own, but followed the instructions and found the way without trouble. Breakfast was excellent each morning, with perfect quality food. Léo and his team also made top-quality barista coffee, the best we had in Marrakesh. The location is just a whisk away from the heart of the Medina. Without a doubt, this is the place to stay in Marrakech. Five stars all round. Shukran Riad Le Clos des Arts

We felt looked after at every point, from a safe pickup in the dark to trips that were arranged perfectly. Issam, Zachariah, Youness, and the entire team deserve thanks. Everyone at Dar des Arts was caring, attentive, and informative without getting in our way. The staff communicated with each other impressively well, and the attention to detail was the sort of service you’d expect at a very good hotel. Highly recommended.
