The staff were really friendly and courteous, and the Riad itself is nice. It's centrally located on a narrow street near the center. But my room was ugly and small, and too humid, especially for the price. I wouldn't return. Other people I met had paid less for much better rooms.

A lovely lady prepared us a delicious breakfast every morning, and manager Adil was very friendly and helpful. Riad Magellan is beautifully decorated and clean, with a roof terrace and even a jacuzzi. It's in the middle of the souk, very close to Place des Epices and restaurants like Nomad and Cafe des Épices. We had a fantastic stay.

Manager Adil went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We had a wonderful stay at Riad Magellan. It's beautiful, clean, and quiet, and every morning we were served a fantastic fresh breakfast.

There were four of us staying in three different bedrooms, and we were the only guests there. Two people worked at the Riad. A large amount of our cash was stolen from bags we'd locked, after one employee searched through our luggage. There was no safe, so we'd hidden the money in different pieces of luggage, or so I thought. That incident is why I hadn't visited Morocco or Marrakech since March 2014. I'm finally about to return to Marrakech, but I don't feel confident, so this time we're staying at a hotel from a large group. And don't expect the local police to care much when you're foreigners. Edit: There was no attempt at blackmail. Your reply seems intended only to discredit my review. You also haven't answered my email asking for proof of your claim.
