Riad Mahjouba Marrakech & SPA

We were there for about a week, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere. We liked the breakfast, and the hamam I booked on the roof was amazing. It was done by a woman. I guess a man would handle it for a man. We also booked a trip to the Atlas through them, and it was very beautiful.

Joseph is the kindest person I’ve ever met. He’s helpful, open, caring, and nice to talk with, and he can suggest places to see and share useful travel tips. We spent three nights at Riad Mahjouba. The rooms aren’t very modern, but they were clean, had working AC, and had everything we needed. The staff are a big part of why I recommend this place.

Youssef, our young host, was lovely to meet: friendly and always ready to help. This is a very nice Riad on the edge of the Medina, with a wonderful courtyard and okay rooms. The nearby streets are quiet, though I’d suggest earplugs, as with any hotel in the Medina, because of the calls to prayer.

The roof terrace at riad mahjouba was lovely for catching the sun, and our room was clean and comfortable, with traditional decor throughout the riad. Breakfast was brought out beautifully each morning, with pastries, pancakes, coffee, excellent orange juice and mint tea. But it was the people who made the stay: they met us at the taxi, showed us around, checked in, and gave us directions and great advice. Youssef was especially kind, and even checked on us after we got home. We had such a good time and nothing felt like a bother. I’d come back just to see him.
