The clean room and bathroom were comfortable, and breakfast on the roof came with a wonderful view of Marrakech. The choices were simple but delicious. Our host, Mounir, was very friendly and accommodating, and Riad Maissoun is less than a five-minute walk from the Jemaa El-Fna. I'd recommend it for couples or a small group of friends.

One star already feels too generous, and I wouldn't return. The room was worn out, and the breakfast was more like a snack than a proper meal. The four-bed room we'd booked wasn't available, so we were asked to change rooms twice during our three-night stay. The owner couldn't be reached when we called, but answered right away when someone called in person. At night, they switched off the air conditioning for four hours. The room got very hot, and ventilation was poor. Parking was only available at an extra cost and a walk away.

The host was fantastic and happy to help with anything. The medina is only a few minutes away, with lots of places to eat and shop. I'd definitely stay again.

For the price, the rooms are nice, and you get hot showers and breakfast every morning. The location is amazing. Couldn't ask for more.
