Riad Melhoun & Spa

The staff made our early departure easy by preparing takeaway breakfast for our train to Casablanca, and arranging transport for a reasonable fee. We also enjoyed the complimentary Moroccan breakfast each morning, and the rooftop was a lovely place to relax. We stayed three days and two nights, mainly because of the location, and it lived up to expectations. The property looked just like the photos, and had a pleasant atmosphere. Reception staff were very helpful and shared local tips that made our trip better. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this riad.

The couples Royal massage was excellent, and we loved the authentic breakfast and dinner, along with real coffee, mint tea, and orange juice. The staff went above and beyond and did everything they could to answer our questions. We were very well looked after. The Riad is calm, beautiful, and well kept, just as the photos show. It's close to the main center but so quiet that we heard nothing from outside. Our room was very clean, and the shower could go from very hot to very cold and everything in between. The rooftop is spacious enough to find privacy. We loved the service, the staff, the location, the room, and the whole Riad.

The staff were welcoming, kind, and attentive from the start. We were greeted with traditional Moroccan pastries and mint tea, heard about the Riad's history on arrival, and appreciated the care in all the decor. We enjoyed breakfast each morning, either on the roof terrace or in the central courtyard by the pool, and ended the trip with a delicious traditional Moroccan meal. It's a beautiful, peaceful Riad in a great location, not far from the palace. We'd highly recommend it.

Breakfast by the pool was a treat, with the sky above, and we also tried the spa, which was very good. The team spoke English fluently and were open to helping and suggesting things to do and places to go. The Riad is a special place, very close to the Medina but still away from the crowds and rush. We were welcomed with tea and cakes and heard about the history of the Riad and more generally. It was the nicest Riad I've stayed in, with small, nice rooms. We visited in January during the African Cup of Nations. Thanks to the whole team!
