The rooms were clean, the hosts were amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. For a visit to Marrakech, staying in a riad is a must for an authentic experience. This one sits in a sweet spot between the souks and the taxi pickup point.

We really liked the hosts, and breakfast was something special. The location is perfect for visiting the Medina’s attractions, and it’s also well placed for getting out of the Medina. One of the best riads we tried. I recommend it!

The room was a bit basic, but we didn’t come to Marrakesh to spend our time indoors. What made us feel at home from the start was being welcomed with tea and biscuits in the lobby, and the whole family was very friendly. Riad Minorisa is perfectly placed at the north edge of the Souks, with a short walk to Jemaa El Fna and other Medina sights. My wife and I stayed for a long weekend, and if we come back to Marrakesh, we’d certainly consider staying with Halim and the family again.

Our ground-floor room got noisy from 7:30 AM when breakfast was being prepared, and the doors and windows didn’t keep the sound out. The room itself was clean, spacious, and decorated in Moroccan style. We received a warm welcome with mint tea and cookies, and the staff gave us a map marked with places to visit. Riad Minorisa is in an 18th-century palace in the heart of Marrakech’s medina. There’s no parking at the riad. The public lot is a 10-minute walk away, and there’s no fixed price list, so you have to negotiate. We paid 210 dirhams for three days.
