We loved how close the riad was to everything happening in Marrakech, and it felt very safe. After long days in the Medina, the cold pool was lovely to cool off in. Our room was clean and a good size, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. We had dinner at the riad on our first night, and it was one of the best meals we had. Such a great stay.

The rooftop and refreshing pool were lovely, and the riad felt clean and intimate. We got a distinctive, authentic Moroccan experience here. Its spot near the Medina, close to Dar El Bacha Museum and the guards there, also made us feel safe. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We had breakfast each morning, and they were flexible about the timing. Dinner on the night we arrived was great too, especially the chicken Tagine, which was the best we had on the whole trip. The food was lovely and we had no trouble communicating. Our room looked out onto a beautiful courtyard, and there was always someone nearby when we needed help. Highly recommend!

The breakfast could use more choice and better quality. We mostly got bread, dips, and other things that weren't great, and fresh fruit would have helped. Apart from that, it’s a good riad: the rooms are large, the place is quiet and peaceful, and the young man hosting us was kind and made us feel at home.

Riad Selouane was a great choice for our first trip to Marrakech. Noori was a wonderful host who talked us through the history of nearby places and did everything he could to make us comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the riad is right in the center, so the souks and several rooftop terraces for food were just a short walk away. We’d highly recommend it.
