Riad Slitine

The courtyard, pool and reading nooks were cozy, and the riad itself felt quite nice and clean once we got past the trash in the alley. Its location is very handy for exploring Marrakech's medina, though the alley is dingy and full of rubbish. Our spacious room had very spotty WiFi, which seemed better in the courtyard. The shower head fitting was broken and looked as if it had been that way a while, so we had to hold the head while washing. Breakfast came with the stay, but it was mostly bread: a croissant, cookie, toast and sponge-like bread, plus a yogurt. An egg in any form would have been appreciated. It was acceptable for the price, but I'd look elsewhere for a slightly more luxurious stay.

Disgusting. The room hadn't been cleaned at all, and there were brown stains all over. They seem to think a few plastic flowers on the bed make everything fine. Our daughter slept there for 2 nights and now has lice in her hair. The safe didn't work either. There were two floor lamps with loose connections, and I nearly got an electric shock. We moved to a hotel after two nights. They should be ashamed to offer guests a place like this.

We really enjoyed breakfast each morning and the gracious hospitality. The rooms were stylish, nice and clean, and the service was wonderful. The central courtyard felt homely and was beautifully styled, with lots of curb appeal. Thank you.

We moved to another hotel after just two nights because the room was so dirty. There were brown stains all over the walls and light switches, all the towels were brown, and I had to clean everything myself. It was disgusting, and offering a place like this feels disrespectful to guests. We had also ordered and paid for an airport pickup, but no taxi was there. There's nothing good I can say about our stay. The photos on the homepage are a big lie. I feel sorry for the staff who have to work there.
