My room at Riad Smara was lovely, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. Having toiletries and a hair dryer in the bathroom was a big plus. The riad sits in a peaceful little spot in the middle of the medina, and Ashraf was kind and helpful throughout, with great suggestions for places to eat and see nearby. I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to friends visiting Marrakech.

Breakfast was a real highlight, an easy 10/10 start to the day. We stayed at Riad Smara around the middle of January, and the rooms were clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout. We had a great visit and would definitely recommend it. Thank you :)

We loved how peaceful Riad Smara felt inside, even though the main square was only about a 10-minute walk away. After the busy Medina, the pool and rooftop terrace were lovely places to relax in the sun. Our rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and breakfast was superb. The staff made us feel so welcome. Zachary booked a restaurant for our last evening and arranged our taxi to the airport. They also kept our bags after checkout since our flight was later. We had a fantastic family stay and hope to come back. Thank you!

Our room had an enormous bath beneath a beautiful domed ceiling, just right for a long soak after a night in the Agafay Desert. Riad Smara itself is stunning, with intricate wooden fretwork and gorgeous painted ceilings. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

We ended up paying twice the original price to find somewhere safe to sleep after Riad Smara and Booking.com gave us awful service. They cancelled our booking at 10pm the night before we were due to arrive, leaving us to rebook at 11pm with very poor choices, even with the 60€ inconvenience fee. The riad is in the middle of the souks, in what felt like the noisiest part of Marrakech, and it isn't easy to find.
