The location made exploring Marrakech on foot easy. Ben Yousef Madrasa, the souks, and Jemaa el-Fnaa square were all within a comfortable walk. Inside, it’s a peaceful, charming place with impeccable service and the feel of an architectural gem. Every detail seems like a work of art, with that Arabian Nights quality. Many thanks to the whole team, led by Sylvie, for their professionalism and care. We’re especially grateful to the young gentleman who welcomed us late at night, served our breakfasts, and was there again in the early morning when we left for our balloon ride. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine smile made a lasting impression and gave our stay a personal touch. An unforgettable visit, wholeheartedly recommended.

The Riad was such a peaceful break from the busy, noisy Souks. It’s clean, and all you hear is birdsong. We had very good Morrican breakfasts on the terrace every morning. The large bedroom and bathroom were beautiful, the AC was excellent, and the atmosphere was incredible. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It’s in a great spot in the Medina. Book the Riad’s private airport transfer: it was efficient and one less thing to worry about after arriving. Our flight was two hours late, but there was no waiting or problem. Thank you, Sylvie, for a wonderful stay in her Riad.

We didn’t have a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. It’s difficult to reach: it sits down small, dinghy alleyways that taxis can’t enter, so you have to walk with your bags for about 10 minutes. The sign is so small it’s hard to see, and no maps were provided to help us find our way back. On our first evening the dark alleyways didn’t feel safe, and coffee shops are also 10 minutes away. The place looks like a palace in the photos, with good vibes and a lot of care in its appearance. In person, though, the furniture and bathroom are dark and dated. Our television didn’t work during our three-day stay. There was no tea or coffee in the room, and you had to pay for it. After we complained about the TV, one day’s coffee bill wasn’t charged. A five-star hotel should have tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was a small Moroccan-style continental spread, with no cereal, small portions, and cold coffee because the kitchen is far away. If you want a filling breakfast, this isn’t the place. Sylvie, the owner who lives there, gave us the cold shoulder when we spoke with her. The staff couldn’t do much because she controls things strictly. We talked to her about how hard the place was to reach, and she said that if we had booked directly with her, she would have sent someone to pick us up. Regardless of how we booked, we were guests who had paid to stay there.

The staff really made the stay. They were lovely and welcoming, and went out of their way to help, whether with directions or anticipating what we might need. We felt right at home. There’s a breathtaking, peaceful atmosphere inside Riad Esprit Du Maroc, like a hidden oasis away from the bustle of the Medina. The traditional architecture and intricate details are beautiful, and our room was spotless and well maintained, with thoughtful décor that made it comfortable and relaxing. If you’re after luxury, tradition, and genuine kindness, this is a lovely choice. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely return on our next visit to Marrakech.

On our first evening, one of the staff walked us to a nearby restaurant and came to collect us afterward so we wouldn’t get lost. The rooms were amazing, with comfortable beds, and the rooftop breakfast was superb. There were wonderful artifacts all around. Such a relaxing, safe, and lovely stay. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely book again.
