Riad Khabia Marrakech

We had a rental car, and the staff suggested a private car park just a minute or two away. We left the key there, but had no problems. They were welcoming and friendly throughout our two nights. The food was good, especially breakfast on the first morning. Our family room was warm in early January, with two AC units that the staff had switched on before we arrived. A really nice stay in the medina.

We only booked one night and immediately wished we had more time. The location made it easy to get around the Medina, souks, and famous sights, and the area felt safe. Inside, the riad was beautiful, and our clean, comfortable room had a good shower and a pleasant view over the patio. The staff were so kind, bringing us tea at check-in and again when we went up to watch the sunset from the rooftop terrace. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

The staff were really helpful, and this charming riad is just a couple of minutes from Tinsmith Square. Its high atrium has a little plunge pool at one end, and the rooms each have their own traditional, varied decor. There's also a small roof terrace with loungers and a shady corner.

Riad Khabia ended up being our favorite of the three hotels we stayed in on the trip. The rooms were beautiful, the staff and our host were kind, and the price was affordable. It's quiet too, which suited us. If you're expecting the full range of five-star hotel services, this may not be what you have in mind, but we loved it. The location near Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the hospitality made it a wonderful stay.
