The place is incredibly beautiful, with tasty breakfasts and such friendly, wonderful service. The location is perfect too. I recommend it to everyone.

I had an amazing stay at riad Tidar in Marrakech. The Moroccan architecture and attentive staff made it memorable. I highly recommend it!

I arrived at Riad tidar late in the evening planning to drop off my bags and go back out to meet friends. The “owner” told me he was going to bed and was alone at reception, so I couldn’t leave because nobody would be there to open the main door for me. I was basically stuck inside. It was incredibly frustrating. Things didn’t improve over the four days. The owner kept checking on us and was intrusive. One afternoon, a friend came into our room with us to leave some shopping bags. The owner came in without permission, told our friend to leave, and filmed us on his phone. It felt completely crazy. The room was tiny and smelled bad. They never changed the sheets or towels during our stay. The sheets were old, fluffy synthetic blankets, and things didn’t feel very clean. There was sometimes a manager who spoke English and seemed to try to handle things better, but we mostly had to deal with the owner, who was an absolute nightmare. It’s the night before we leave, and I can’t wait to get out. We booked last minute when there wasn’t much available, but after this experience I regret staying here and would never come back. It brought an unnecessary bad feeling to our trip. Stay away.
