The staff and service providers helped make this a good stay. They offered a private airport transfer, which made arrival stress-free, though it was a bit pricey. I’m sure you could get something much cheaper outside by the taxi stand if you’re patient. It was easy to find the riad once we knew our landmark, and it’s very close to the main square. But it wasn’t as elegant as advertised and may be overpriced. Our room got very little natural light. We had the biggest room on the main floor by the courtyard, which meant hearing all kinds of conversations from people outside. The terrace was underwhelming too, with only three dining tables and none of the outdoor furniture shown in the photos. The main door is always locked. If you’re out late, you have to knock for one of the male staff members whose room is near the entrance to let you in.

Hussain and Said made us feel welcome right away and were consistently kind, attentive, and ready to help. Leila and Ola kept the riad spotless and made us delicious breakfast each morning. The team really helped us feel at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable for two, and we knew from the booking photos that the bathroom had no door, so that was fine. The riad is a peaceful, cosy spot, just a five-minute walk from the main square. They arranged our airport ride on arrival and stored our luggage on the last day so we could explore without carrying it around. My partner and I had an excellent stay at Riad Todra, and we highly recommend it. Thanks to the whole team for making our trip so enjoyable, Ellie and James!

I completely agree with the previous review. The room was much smaller than advertised, even smaller than the airport IBIS budget where we stayed the night before. There was no outside window, the rooftop terrace was extremely underwhelming, and you could hear every word anyone said in the building. I visited 22 countries this year, and this was by far the worst hotel I stayed in. Terrible value for money.

We had a nice stay at Riad Todra, and the staff were super friendly. The rooftop terrace was nice too, though breakfast could have been better. The shower water didn’t drain well, but otherwise everything was good.

Breakfast was nice, the place was clean, and it was good value. I felt at home from day one, and coming back after being out in the city always felt good. The two brothers looking after Riad Todra and the two women working there were lovely and so helpful. I had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.
