The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with its magnificent 360° view. When the weather was good, we enjoyed a bottle of wine ordered through the riad, along with glasses and crisps, up there in the evenings. There’s also a hammam and jacuzzi that we didn’t have time to try, and massages can be booked through Yassin in the rooftop massage room. Yassin, the in-house manager, was warm, kind, and very helpful. The owners came by each morning to greet guests, offer help with travel or excursions, and share useful suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. On our first night, Miriam cooked a delicious chicken tajine with preserved lemon. We appreciated the discount on dinner after arriving tired and not wanting to head back out. Breakfast was good every day, with eggs, bread, pastries, jams, honey, juice, and more. We liked the Kasbah location, away from the Medina’s bustle but still near restaurants, shops, and the market. It’s about a 20-minute walk to El Jemaa Fna. Our room was a good size, with a separate toilet, a spacious shower and bathroom, plenty of closet space, slippers, and bathrobes. It was cleaned daily, with towels and pool towels replaced each day. The bathroom was bright, though the room itself could be a bit dark. The two lights above the TV didn’t work. We could have told the manager, but didn’t bother since we were out most of the time. I’d recommend it to anyone like me who wants easy access to shops and restaurants without staying in the Medina’s busy center.

The only thing we missed was more closet space, since our room was smaller than we’d expected and we were traveling with big suitcases. Still, we had a lovely stay at Riad Almeria, with a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, a delicious breakfast, and a great team. The hammam treatment with sweet Hafida left our skin incredibly soft and us feeling calm. Driss and Mehdi also made a big impression. They were so attentive and made us feel at home, taking time to teach us about Moroccan people, culture, and the country’s history. The whole staff was wonderful, but these two went especially far to meet our needs and made us feel that no request was too much. Thank you to everyone, especially Driss and Mehdi, for making our stay so pleasant.

After we walked through the doors, the staff looked after every detail and were so helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved the tasty breakfasts and the terrace, where the pool and sunbeds made it easy to relax. The villa is close to the center and popular souks. Thanks to Oumaima, Housni, Ilyasse, Heriem, Mouad, Mustapha, Jounes for creating such a great atmosphere!☺️❤️

Driss and Youssef were wonderful hosts. They helped me with absolutely everything and taught me a lot about Moroccan culture. The staff were so friendly and made my time in Morocco much more enjoyable. The Riad itself was beautiful, bright, and sunny, and the rooftop pool was just what I wanted. Be curious while you’re there and chat with the team, they love exchanging stories about their cultures 🙏🏻😁

The food was amazing, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to mix work with time off. The location was ideal, just a few minutes’ walk from the market. Riad Villa Almeria is stylish and beautifully designed, with a stunning rooftop where we could relax by the heated pool. The staff went out of their way to make our visit memorable, especially Majid and the best Hamza. It was a wonderful stay, whether you’re exploring the city or just unwinding somewhere welcoming and peaceful. I’d definitely come back.
