The staff were friendly, I'll give them that, but this didn't feel like a five-star hotel to me. I don't know how five-star hotels are rated in Marrakech, though the place felt very basic. Some advertised amenities were misleading. The room was dark and small, the bed extremely uncomfortable, and there was noise from street traffic, next door, and even toilets flushing. If you want quiet, you won't find it here. We booked several nights because it was described as five-star and the reviews were good. Since we had paid in advance, we felt stuck there. Some of the recommended tours were also way overpriced.

The traditional Moroccan feel mixed with comfort and luxury made for a really relaxing escape. We left refreshed and pampered, already thinking about coming back. It felt like absolute paradise, and I'll miss it ❤️ From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere, views, and attention to detail were breathtaking. Every meal was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and welcoming, and every single person went above and beyond to make us comfortable and cared for. I definitely want to return.

We paid £300 a night for the big suite, but the bath didn't work. When I went to tell the concierge, he was gruff and acted like he couldn't care less. He'd been scrolling social media and seemed annoyed that I'd interrupted him. Eventually he came upstairs and told us to fill the bath with the shower, saying the tap was just ornamental. That's complete rubbish. The restaurant itself was amazing architecturally, and the waiting staff were good. But the hotel is overpriced, and the management was terrible. I've stayed in many hotels over my 60-plus years, and this was one of my worst experiences. The concierge needs to be sacked. Find somewhere else.

Traditional and modern at once, the place is beautiful and really quiet. I loved the food, the service, and the hotel itself. Everything felt special. Thanks to Anas and Yasser for the excellent hospitality. ❤️
