Riad Lhena

We had a peaceful stay, with birdsong in the morning and none of the market bustle coming into the riad. Breakfast in the courtyard was simple and lovely: croissants, yoghurts, fresh tea and orange juice, warm flatbread, jams, and more. Our room was clean and comfortable. Origins Hotel Riad Lhena is in the medina, just off a main street market lined with vendors selling food and other things. The taxi couldn’t reach the door because the lanes are too narrow for cars, but the driver got us close and the walk was short. A fantastic choice with wonderful staff.

Seven days here still didn’t feel like enough. I’ve traveled all over the world, and this was the best service I’ve ever had at a hotel. They helped us book tours, served an amazing breakfast, and made us feel more welcome and at home than anywhere else. Warmest regards, Mara and Jonas, Denmark.

The triple room was so beautiful, and the three of us friends loved having two sinks and a bathroom mirror big enough for four people at once 😂. Breakfast was gorgeous and made fresh every day, and the staff were kind and helpful. It’s in the Medina but very quiet. We’d come back without hesitation.

The staff deserve a special thank you. They were genuinely lovely and kind, arranged an airport pickup, set up the excursions we wanted with either a group or a private driver, and took care of all our requests. The rooftop was a nice place to rest or eat, and the included breakfast was delicious. We also ordered lunch and dinner for a fee, and both were delicious with huge portions. The rooms were clean and nice, with the cleaning lady coming every day. A beautiful riad in the Medina, and I’d definitely recommend it.
