Riad Le Plein Sud

I spent two nights here and was completely satisfied. The host was amazing and available to help with anything, from ideas for things to see to arranging activities. It's a beautiful, simple, clean riad inside Marrakech's medina, and convenient for reaching places around the Medina. I'd definitely recommend it.

I had an uncomfortable stay and definitely wouldn't recommend this place. The room lock didn't work, and they ignored my emails. I'd written ahead to ask if they could accommodate my dietary restrictions. When I explained my allergies on arrival, the manager laughed and said nothing. The next day, despite having paid for breakfast and dinner, they made no effort to prepare a proper meal and just removed the ingredients I couldn't eat, leaving me plain eggs for breakfast. I checked out early and immediately found a more welcoming riad. Other riads often offer welcome tea and snacks and leave fruit in the room. This one did none of that, yet cost twice as much.

Breakfast here was delicious, full of Moroccan flavor, and reasonably priced at 5 euros per person. There was fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, and mint tea. We were staying next door at the Riad Derdouba and came here every morning for breakfast. The place is nicely decorated and tranquil, and the staff were friendly and hospitable. The manager also helped arrange an Atlas Mountains tour for us. I'd recommend it.

When we ran into trouble during our stay, the staff made sure we were safe and handled it with professionalism and real care. They made us feel completely secure, and we'll always be grateful for that support during a stressful time. The riad felt like a home away from home. The manager and Khalil treated us like family and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Every little detail seemed taken care of, and the two lovely ladies who made breakfast prepared a delicious Moroccan spread with fresh ingredients and local flavors each morning. The warmth of everyone there made a huge difference. It was the most welcoming place we've ever stayed, and it surpassed our expectations. We left relaxed and recharged, with a deep appreciation for the kindness and generosity we were shown. We can't wait to return.
