The balcony looked out over the fountain just outside the hotel, with mountain ranges in the distance. Inside, the room was surprisingly beautiful and clean, right down to the shiny floor tiles. The separate shower and toilet areas had grey subway tiles with gold trim, which gave them a classy feel. There were coffee and tea supplies, and the TV had a couple of English channels among mostly Middle Eastern and African ones. Boutaina was especially wonderful, professional, and helpful. The whole staff paid attention to the details and went out of their way to make us feel cared for. Their warm, thoughtful service made it easy to relax and feel at ease. We left with lovely memories and would be happy to return.

We had a small mix-up with our rooms, but the front desk staff stayed courteous and did their best to sort it out. The issue was resolved satisfactorily, and we were glad we stayed. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious rooms and great amenities. We had a wonderful visit.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious, so I'd recommend staying at the hotel. The spa program, though, left my friends and me stressed instead of relaxed. We booked a hammam in the evening. They put black soap on us and told us to sit and warm up, but we were really cold. We didn't like it and asked to stop. They said a refund was possible, then kept a third of the price for the soap the woman had applied for about seven seconds. They offered to continue, and we agreed because she said we wouldn't be cold, but we still were. It seemed to be the final hour for the spa floor, and they'd turned off the hammam. The staff wanted to rush through the treatment and treated us like idiots, insisting that freezing was how a hammam should feel. The scrub with a brush was good and lasted several minutes, but the rest felt hurried: soap, then buckets of water suddenly poured over our heads, a minute of lotion, a minute of hair washing, and no mini-massage. It felt more like hardening than a spa treatment, and the exfoliating brush was uncomfortable. One staff member said, “I can’t return you full price, because we will stay with nothing at the end of the day.” Why should that be my problem? I didn't like the service, and shouldn't have to pay for a bad hammam that spoiled our evening. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. Maybe it's better to go in the morning or during the day, when the hammam is running and it isn't cold in the evening.
