The villa felt very secure, with walls all around and a huge gate. Yassin was super helpful with everything, and Miriam was lovely. She handled the cleaning, much of the food, I think, and the hammam too. The place is small, maybe 8-10 rooms, or a few more, but I’m not sure. Breakfast was great, with Moroccan breads, jam, eggs by choice, fruit salad, orange juice, and a choice of tea or coffee. We ordered dinner a few times and really enjoyed the food, which seemed very authentic Moroccan. Prices were about like a high end restaurant in the city, as you’d expect. The outdoor pool area was lovely, with amazing sunbeds. There was a tennis court, table tennis, a basketball hoop, and parking if you have a rental car. The hammam was a fun new experience for me, at least, and my wife had a massage. The hammam costs around 400-600 DH for a minimum of two people, so 800-1200 DH for a couple. Her massage was 450 DH. It’s a bit outside the city centre, about a 20 minute drive to Jemaa el-Fna, around 200 Dh by local taxi. I’d definitely like to return to Villa Dar Laila if I go back to Marrakesh. It’s lovely and peaceful, and a nice place to relax on holiday. Five stars easily!

We had a great stay at Villa Dar Laila in January. We arrived late and hadn’t been able to eat, so Yassin went out of his way to prepare us a small meal. When my phone charger broke, he kindly lent me one. The villa has brilliant facilities, including a tennis court, table tennis, a swimming pool, and plenty of green space. We also had massages in the spa. Most nights we ate there, and every dish we tried was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was fantastic too. It’s an amazing place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed five nights and found the hotel clean, well maintained, and quiet. It’s small and around 10 km outside busy Marrakesh, with a taxi ride of about 10 minutes into town. There isn’t anything in the neighbourhood, so you need a taxi for everything, though they’re cheap and that was no problem for us. Our room was spacious, with a good bed, shower, and private terrace. The gardener looked after the nice garden every day, and the pool had good sunbeds and parasols for everyone. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and at the lounge sets, and both the food and service were very good.

Yassin, the manager, made anything possible so we could have a relaxing stay. His cat was so cute! 😍 The villa was quiet, simple, and clean. There’s car parking, and you can still get some sport in with the tennis courts, pin pong, basketball, and swimming pool. Dinner was fine. I’d recommend it if you want a peaceful place not far from the town centre.

Only a few guests were there, so it was very quiet, and the manager, Yassin, made anything possible to help us relax. The service was outstanding. Breakfast was brilliant, and there are plenty of things to do, including tennis courts, pin pong, basketball, and a pool. They serve alcohol, too. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay to end your Morocco trip, I recommend it. Download inDrive to get a taxi.
