Bed & Breakfast Olsi

I had hoped for a lot more from this place. I arrived very early and was told the room would be ready in an hour, with an early check-in fee, which I expected. A nice receptionist showed me where to leave my luggage, handled the admin and pointed out breakfast. I bought breakfast, then waited there nearly two hours before going back to ask about the room. A different receptionist ignored me at first, then barely acknowledged me before making a phone call. The room was ready, but nobody had told me, even though I was paying extra. I had been travelling all night and wanted to sleep, but cleaners were dropping equipment and slamming doors. I eventually got dressed and went out for food. When I came back, it sounded like a herd of rock star elephants had moved in. No sleep for me that night. Avoid this place if you want peace.

We were in the largest room, an apartment on the first floor, while my friends had the penthouse. Both were spacious and comfortable. The apartment had two double beds; the penthouse had a shared lounge and kitchen. It's on a quiet street, with cafes, a Mexican restaurant and an alco market within a five-minute walk. The main street, bazaar and city center are about 15 minutes away on foot. The staff were friendly and breakfast was tasty. A very pleasant stay.

The included breakfast was nice, and being able to stay until 12:00 was handy. Staff were professional and showed me straight to my room. It was quite small, though amenities were provided. There were no curtains, only a net curtain that let in all the daylight. It was okay.

Breakfast was a highlight, and the location worked well, close to the city and not too far from the airport. The stay was pleasant, with clean rooms and bathrooms. Having reception open 24 hours was convenient.
