I don't usually leave reviews, even though I've stayed in lots of hostels, but my time at Chisinau chill hostel was so warm that I wanted to share it. I spent my birthday there, and the owner and guests celebrated so generously, even making a big birthday cake. I was amazed by their kind hospitality and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone looked after me, and the owner kept offering tea and even shared his dinner, which was lovely local food. I had an unforgettable birthday and was so happy to stay there. The rooms sleep 10 people and were dirty, with a really bad smell from both the rooms and beds. The heating wasn't adequate either. The hostel owner was rude and didn't seem to care.

We couldn't sleep because of the stench. The room smelled awful, like sweat mixed with too much air freshener, and there was trash left by previous guests. The bedding was old, and the whole place was extremely dirty. It needs serious cleaning and reconstruction, and the photos online are completely misleading. Stay away!

What made my stay special was the friendly, inclusive atmosphere the staff created. The hostel was clean, cozy, and stylishly decorated, and the dorm rooms were comfortable and well kept. I slept well after a day of exploring.

The location made it easy to get around Chișinău, with the main sights close by. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were warm and helpful. It’s a cozy, affordable place to stay while exploring the city, and I’d happily recommend it.
