The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable and cozy, which made this a good place to spend the night between flights. It’s close to the airport, about 7 minutes by taxi, which cost 200 lei at night, or 6 lei by public transport during the day. The price was reasonable too. I’d estimated I’d arrive at 1:00 a.m., so I contacted the hotel the day before through Booking.com, where I’d booked. They promptly said a security guard would meet me and check me in. That’s exactly what happened, without any problems. I highly recommend it.

The only real plus is that it’s not far from the airport. I read lots of good reviews while looking for a place, but after staying here I’d guess they’re fake. I’d recommend paying a little more to stay somewhere else. The rooms are in very poor condition, with no slippers or robe. It’s an industrial zone, and the walls are so thin you hear everything. People started checking in at 5am, and we could hear cars, the constantly ringing doorbell and reception phone, a nearby service station, and someone drilling. It’s no place to rest after a flight. The room was cold too: we slept under two blankets and still wore clothes during the day, but remained chilly. The internet was terrible, cutting out every two minutes so nothing would load. Hot water in the shower was about as reliable as the Wi-Fi. We couldn’t even make tea at reception in the evening because someone had taken the kettle from there to their room. And if you book through Booking.com, don’t count on anyone waiting for you. Do they even know you’re coming?

The rooms are quite old and really need renovation. Still, after two nights, I was able to get in touch and arrange a room by 10 am. It’s near the airport.
