8/10
Dinner was only about 7 or 8 euro for the two of us, and for a 17 euro room with double beds, it was pretty good value, in my opinion. We arrived at dinnertime after booking at the last minute, and the host looked after us by getting an inexpensive meal ready while we unpacked. The receptionist spoke enough English to sort everything out and let us park our motorbikes in the hotel's gated area. The room and bathroom felt a little vintage, but they were clean.

The room was okay, but sleeping on that bed felt like lying on a wooden floor. It wasn't expensive, yet the people there weren't friendly at all. No smiles, and they looked bored, as if they didn't want guests.

The wifi in the room was almost nonexistent. At least the room was pretty clean, and both the bed and bathroom were comfortable.

The staff were lovely, and having a bar and kitchen open 24 hours made this a top place for a first experience of Moldova. It's a small hotel close to the Romanian border.

Good value for the money, and a nice place for a short stay.
