The room had a lovely view, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed here twice, at the beginning and end of our trip. It’s a small place, useful for passing through, with great access to transport: the bus and train station and taxi rank are right next door. Our double room was fine, though it and the bathroom could use a bit of TLC.

The host was understanding and accommodating, and kept our luggage for a small extra fee after checkout so we could explore the city. The room was comfortable, with AC and a balcony, and it’s about a 5 minute walk from the main city centre. I’d recommend it.

The worst part was the owner coming into our room without knocking and closing the windows without asking. We’re still upset and shaken by it. There were four of us, and we all felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. The place was filthy, with an unbearable smell. The sheets looked and smelled as if they hadn’t been washed in ages, so we slept in our own sleeping bags. The kitchen was sticky and dirty, and the so-called terrace had rubbish and old tools, including dirty ladders. Try to avoid it at all costs.

The manager, Adnan, was attentive and helpful with the services we needed. The hostel was clean and well run, all on one floor, with a good bathroom and shower, a washer, secure entrance and lockers. It’s a good location, about a 5-10 minute walk to the bus station. I’ll stay here again when I return to Podgorica 🇦🇱.
