The place is clean and nice, and the owners are friendly. They understand and speak a little English. There's a small kitchen area in the room, while the shower is shared. It's about an hour's walk from Podgorica's bus and train station.

Nice apartments...

The rooms are reasonably clean, but there's a noticeable smoky smell, especially in the bedding, and it's strong enough to be hard for non-smokers to put up with. The shared shower and toilet and the free parking just outside the window are worth knowing about. Internet was slow, so we used our phones instead. The room has an air conditioner but no remote, and in July, sleeping with the window open at 30 degrees Celsius meant sweating through the night while cars or motorcycles passed about five times. For €20 a night, I wasn't expecting a lot, and I know cleaning and laundry cost money. Still, replacing the broken shower head and putting in a dish sponge would go a long way.

The room smelled of smoke, had two holes in the ceiling, and the air conditioner had no remote. There were ants inside the teapot, which was almost impossible to open. Wi-Fi showed five bars and let us connect, but there was no actual internet. Staff were hard to reach. We had reserved a room with three beds and a bathroom, but got one without a bathroom. The room we were meant to have was open, but it didn't have three beds and was completely full of smoke.
