It’s a barebones hostel, so don’t expect much, but it felt secure and safe, with cameras and 24-hour coverage. The Turkish owner and his wife were friendly, honest, hardworking, and helpful. A nice place for a night in Podgorica. I guess it’s okay for 15€.
The owner John has a beautiful soul. He’s involved with the guests, careful, helpful, and really caring. The dorms are clean, and there’s a kitchen on the second floor that’s perfectly adequate for a hostel. Great place right in the center. Such a good stay, see you next time!
I had a pleasant stay and no problems. This is probably the cheapest place I saw in Podgorica. My only concern was the lack of lockers, so I had to take my valuables with me on day trips to the bay area. Otherwise, everything was good.
John, the owner, was really helpful with suggestions for things to see and places to go. My friend and I had a lovely stay, and I’d definitely come back if I’m in Podgorica.
As a solo female traveller, I had a horrible experience. I don’t want to say much, since it seems they don’t take feedback and people who leave negative reviews get roasted. Hope you think twice before booking. Stay safe! Update after the owner replied: I came alone. Where did you get an Italian man from? Do you need medical attention? Now you know why it’s not safe?
