You can hear the lemurs singing in the morning, and the place feels close to nature. The staff are friendly, the price is reasonable, and there’s a nice pool. The hotel is basic and close to the park, though the evenings get very cold. Our shower had barely any pressure and no hot water. Dinner took over an hour, so order ahead. You get what you pay for. 😊💕

The owner was very friendly, and our clean room was in a quiet spot where we slept well. We arrived at Easter, when Antsirabe gets very busy for the holidays. The food elsewhere is better for the same price. Service was lacking too: the floor wasn’t clean, the tables hadn’t been set, and the staff seemed to have nothing to do. That kind of thing is common in Madagascar.

We stayed at Analamazaotra Hotel on the night of March 2nd to 3rd, 2024, and left deeply disappointed. There was mold on the ceiling in our room, and the bedding wasn’t clean, which is unacceptable for a 3-star establishment. Hot water, which we had been promised, wasn’t available either. At 6:00 AM the next morning, the water stopped working. Reception couldn’t give us a clear explanation, and the hotel didn’t act promptly to fix the problem. Staff handed out buckets, but it was chaotic. We waited patiently for an hour before finally getting a bucket of cold water. We expected proper service and respect for guests, and this stay fell far short. We hope the hotel takes steps to address these problems for future guests. Sincerely,

The hotel has potential, but it needs a major renovation. In the rainy season, the restaurant and guest-room roofs leak badly, and the pool is dirty and needs work. Really, the whole infrastructure needs reviewing.
