I always choose Tana Hotel when I’m in Antananarivo. It feels like a second home, with clean, comfortable, well-kept rooms and a location right in the heart of the city that still feels peaceful and secure. The staff are warm and professional. They remember me and go out of their way to make me feel welcome, and the service is consistently good. The whole atmosphere is relaxing, whether I’m there for work or leisure. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Highly recommended!

The staff were always smiling, attentive, and available around the clock, and both breakfast and dinner were consistently delicious, satisfying, and well prepared. I enjoyed my three-night stay, with spacious rooms, lovely views, good lighting, and a comfortable feel. The building is older, and adjusting the shower between hot and cold takes patience, but the hotel’s charm and atmosphere made up for that. There’s no lift, so you have to use the stairs to reach the rooms. The central location is a plus, with easy access and convenience stores nearby. Tana Hotel offers good hospitality, comfort, and value in the heart of Antananarivo. Highly recommended!

The stairs can wear you out. The staff, though, were amazing, welcoming, and friendly at any time of day. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. The food and breakfast weren’t great, though maybe that’s down to our organizers’ planning. The internet connection was disastrous. For Italian food down the road, I recommend "Le Buffet du Jardin" and "Rossino".

There are restaurants all around, supermarkets next door, a flea market 50 meters away, and ATMs nearby. It’s hard to find a better place to stay. I love this hotel. The guys at the door welcomed us and were very helpful with our bags, and the reception staff were nice. The room was very clean. I had to switch rooms, and the room maids were really helpful. I strongly recommend it.

Just a few kilometres from the Presidential palace, Tana Hotel is a beautiful place to stay for a night in Antananarivo. The meals are wonderful, and I’d recommend it. Its proximity to the Centre of Administration also makes it feel very secure. The receptionists and attendants speak English too, which is helpful if your French isn’t very good.
