For the price, it’s a decent place to stay. The bungalow came with a mosquito net around the bed, which was handy, and a small bottle of water. There’s a good range of affordable breakfast options. Payment is cash only, but they accept euros and give the correct change. The room was rather dark, with too little lighting, and there was some dust in places like the wardrobe. The bed wasn’t very comfortable either. Still, the value for the price is good.

The rooms are nice and clean, and the hotel is okay. It’s a bit far from Helleville.

The hotel feels really special, with playful, artistic decor that’s a little wild in a fun way. The house lady was so sweet and caring, and Julio on the staff was very kind too. My room was huge, with a king bed and another bed upstairs in the loft. It had a kettle, which I appreciated, and a fan. The street is very quiet, the restaurant is nice, and when I arrived it was full of older French guests having dinner. The price is fair, the shower has good pressure and hot water, and the fitted mosquito net kept the room mosquito-free. The Madagascar Air office is only a two-minute walk away if you need to buy a ticket. A small bit of feedback: water seemed expensive at 8,500 for 1.5 L, especially with the market so close to town. It cost more than water on the small island of Nosy Sakatia. Also, the housekeeper could do a better job cleaning the floor. I walked barefoot and got dusty feet, though the rest of the room was very clean.

The staff were pleasant, dinner was good, and the hotel is close to the main street where you can find transport. It’s very calm and quiet, though the rooms could do with updating. Cash only.

Really nice atmosphere and aesthetic, the staff were helpful, and the food was exceptional.
