At the “Best hotel” restaurant in Bitola, I was told they were out of honey for my coffee. So I had to have sugar with breakfast. That's not acceptable.

The juice arrived at room temperature, and the salad was swimming in sauce. The food was awful and took ages to come. I wouldn't recommend eating here.

The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, well located, and the reception staff were welcoming and professional. The facilities met expectations for this kind of hotel, and most of the staff seemed to work hard to make guests feel welcome. The casino bar, though, left me with a very bad impression. The waitress there, Roza, was curt and dismissive from the start, as if we were a nuisance. She seemed annoyed by even simple questions and requests, and at one point ignored us while talking with colleagues. Her conduct was rude and unprofessional, and it made for a very upsetting experience. One person's behavior can harm the reputation of the whole place, and that's what happened here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Would I recommend Hotel Epinal? Maybe, but I'd avoid the casino bar unless you're fine with being treated like an inconvenience.
