There was hardly any heat overnight, and I woke up cold at 5am. The place is really old and very dirty, with hair all over the room and grime in the corners and on top of things like the AC unit. This definitely isn't a four-star hotel, or even a three-star one.

Great place. The hotel still has the same owner, but for the last two years the restaurant has actually been Destan. Fabulous food.

The rooms were bitterly cold at night because the broken windows wouldn’t shut, even with the air conditioning on. The view was dull, and the hotel itself felt dirty and in terrible shape. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Tomce Sofka to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable stay. Hard to understand the 4-star rating.

4/10
The staff were kind, and when we arrived to find water all over our room, they moved us straight away to a better one. The rest of the stay didn’t match a 4-star hotel, though. It wasn’t very clean, there was no hairdryer or iron, and we spotted bugs that looked like cockroaches. There’s no reception, just a waiter at the shank bar, and after midnight guests have to let themselves in with an RFID card. I’ve stayed in many 3-star places that were much better. This one deserves 2 stars at most.

The rooms were cold because some windows were broken. We also found bed bugs the first night and got bitten, then spotted two cockroaches on the second. Floors and bathrooms weren’t clean, and there was hair everywhere. An awful experience.
