My Hpa-An Residence

I liked the tranquil feel of Hpa An Residence by Amata and its traditional Burmese design, which fits in with the surroundings. The rooms and suites are well appointed and have modern amenities. There’s a restaurant with local and international food, plus a bar, spa, pool, fitness center, and garden. Hpa-an is the capital of Kayin State, with limestone scenery, caves, and traditional villages. Mount Zwegabin is a landmark and offers a challenging hike with panoramic views. Saddan Cave, Kawt Ka Taung Cave, and Kyauk Kalap Pagoda, on a rocky outcrop in a lake, are also attractions. There’s a lively local market for the atmosphere and local food.

The bungalows sit fairly close together, but the architecture and landscaping still gave us a real sense of peace and privacy. The staff were incredibly helpful. I loved this place.

The location and service were good, and the bungalow was nice, though it felt a bit pricey. The pool has a lovely view and is worth enjoying. There’s no bathtub option for a shower.
