The location is right in the middle of the city, and the staff were warm and friendly even though most couldn't speak English. Beds were comfy, the mixed dorm was spacious, and there were sockets and a light by each bed. Bathrooms were clean. I liked the dining area upstairs, and the lounge by reception looked great. There were no bed curtains. The city had a power outage, and I don't think the hostel had a generator. The toilet was a whole ordeal, needing about 20 flushes before it finally cleared, though maybe that was because the power was out. Wi-Fi sometimes stopped working despite showing full signal. Breakfast varies, but the meal I got felt like a joke: bland, almost white fried noodles with vegetables, plus hot water with salt and pepper for soup.

The staff are very friendly and cooperative, and the morning breakfast is simple but enough. It's the cheapest option in Mandalay, so the price is okay. The hostel isn't very clean, and the bathrooms smell. There are no curtains in the dorms. The boss doesn't allow changes or anything like that.

The beds are really comfortable, and the breakfast is superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful that I felt at home. It's a lovely place right in downtown Mandalay, and they also rent bikes for getting around town. If you're looking for a hostel in MDY, this is a must!

A really nice place for backpackers, with a lovely rooftop where you can have breakfast or hang out during the day. There are only two toilets, and they double as showers, so sometimes you have to wait a long time for your turn.

The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and deserve 5+ stars. It's especially good for tourists who don't know the city. The location is easy to reach, just a five-minute walk from the railway station. Facilities are modern and clean, with a rooftop area for relaxing. I visited in 2017 and will come again.
