The restaurant has a very nice view, and the buffet breakfast each day has a decent range of dishes. There's also a small rooftop pool and a gym next to it, though neither is covered. It's an old school hotel in a convenient location, with big rooms and beds. The wardrobe is mostly open, apparently so you don't forget anything when checking out. Traffic comes through the windows pretty clearly, so light sleepers may have a problem, though it was fine for me. The Wi-Fi is decent and there's a flat screen TV. You need to switch on the water heater ahead of time. The cafe, bellboy, and housekeeping staff were helpful, though communication could be difficult because of language. A decent place for forty dollars.

I was there for two months on business, and the noise was a real issue. Staff used their walkie-talkies loudly even at 3 am, and they held karaoke regularly. On the plus side, it was clean and comfortable, and the hot water and internet worked well.

During the two weeks I stayed at the Wilson for the Asia Pro Bono conference, I had a lovely experience. The staff were very helpful, and the place was run professionally. The restaurant food was delicious, and breakfast offered lots of choices along with a view.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was comfortable, clean, and big enough. The bathroom is the downside. There is a swimming pool and gym on the 7th floor, which are nice ways to spend some free time.
