I love watching the sunset from the hotel window. It's right beside the river, and good restaurants are within walking distance. For anyone who'd rather not walk, three-wheel taxis wait right outside. It's a very convenient place to stay, with friendly, helpful staff and a fabulous breakfast. My favorite hotel in Mawlamyine.

Getting there is easy. It's a well-known hotel with a good reputation. I'd recommend booking a Riverview room.

Rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices and tasted great. The hotel is right on Strand Road in Mawlamyine, with an incredible view of Salween river. Parking is roomy, but space can still be limited because so many guests choose to stay here. I had a great stay and got a good night's rest, so I'd recommend it for either a business or vacation trip.

Our stay was okay at this decent hotel on Strand Road, but the toilet door lock wasn't working properly. Once you shut the door, you could get stuck inside and need someone outside to let you out. We reported it, but after dinner it still wasn't fixed. They ended up replacing the doorknob that evening, which was inconvenient.
