Ocean Paradise Resort

The rooms are spacious, tidy, and each has a bathtub. The pool was nice too, and staff cleaned it every morning while we were there. WiFi was very fast, though I think the signal may depend on how far your room is from reception. It’s a quiet, reasonably priced hotel, but the grounds are small and there’s no garden or family spot to relax in. They seemed short on staff: room service only came in the late afternoon because the mornings and early afternoons were taken up getting rooms ready for new guests. Still, it’s a good place to stay when visiting NgweSaung.

The rooms are large and comfortable, though the view isn’t great. The pool is lovely, and the beach is just a two-minute walk away. Food could be better, but it’s a decent stay for a reasonable price.

Electricity was available around the clock, and the pool and rooms were nice. It’s not right on the beach, but the walk takes only about five minutes. My one complaint is the air conditioning, which only runs for 12 hours, from 6 pm to 6 am.

I especially enjoyed the breakfast service and the swimming pool. The hotel itself is really nice, though the room designs seem a little dated to me.
