It's a good budget place, with clean, inexpensive rooms. For two local guests, a room costs 25,000. They offer early check-in when a room is available, and the owners and staff speak good English. There's no breakfast, and the TV sometimes doesn't work properly. They don't provide bottled drinking water, a shower cap, or a toothbrush. Laundry is available, though I found it a bit expensive. Motorcycle rental is 12,000 per day until 6pm, and they also offer a day-return trekking tour.

The accommodations are cozy and quaint, and the prices are affordable. Hot showers could be hotter in the cold season, but warm is better than cold. It's a great place to stay while visiting Pyin Oo Lwin. When my friends and I arrived, the owner welcomed us and helped clear up a few questions. After we finished the paperwork, he told us about town and pointed out places to visit and good restaurants. Some staff could speak English, while the others struggled, but the hospitality was still there.

We didn't sleep well because guests in another room talked loudly in the middle of the night, then a loudspeaker outside woke us at 6 am. There's black mould in the bathroom, too. On the plus side, the room is spacious, with plenty of room for luggage. They provide Myanmar Coffee, tea, and refills of purified water for free, which helps avoid plastic waste. The guesthouse offers one, two, or three-day trekking trips, plus bicycles and motorbikes for rent. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the wifi is VERY fast.

The homemade breakfast tastes much better than the western-style breakfasts you usually get at guesthouses like this. The host is very friendly, can help find good motorbike rental deals, and knows non-touristy places to visit around town. It had just opened to foreigners when I stayed. It's clean and cheap. There isn't air conditioning, but the temperatures here only call for a fan.
