The service was genuinely good, even though the facilities were terrible. The staff seemed to know how poor the hotel was and apologized, trying their best to make up for it. They kept my child safely entertained so we could enjoy breakfast, brought some food over despite the buffet being self-service, and the breakfast itself was reasonably good. In the rain, they used umbrellas to shelter as many people as they could, and carried any bags we asked them to. If the facilities had been decent, I'd have tipped everyone generously and given five stars. There were lots of problems in the room: the central water heater and some air conditioners malfunctioned, the drawers had no handles, and the shower head came off during normal use, with the guest expected to pay. The bathtub pipe wasn't connected to the mains, the TV was still a CRT, and the sockets weren't suitable for travelers.

The staff managed to fix the hot water issue we ran into. Rates are reasonable for a three-star hotel, and most rooms are spacious and well equipped. Overall, quite a good hotel.

We had three rooms for our family of nine and stayed two nights. Everyone enjoyed it, and there were lots of food options at the hotel. Staff and service were excellent. Hotel host Zinhtet N. went beyond what we expected to make us comfortable and gave us useful information for our Myanmar trip. Highly recommend!

I was on a business trip but found the atmosphere cool and beautiful, and I was able to relax. I felt comfortable and well looked after at Tiger Hotel. Breakfast was good too. Thanks.

The room facilities were very poor. The bedrooms, showers, and toilets all need renovation. In the very cold winter season, hot water wasn't available all the time.
